You are looking at a very nice, fully restored 1970 Mach 1. This awesome Mach 1 was originally from New Mexico. It has undergone a beautiful ground-up restoration completed in 2001. This is a true Mach 1 (0F05H103059). I had the Mach 1 clad moldings removed during the restoration. A custom Boss 351 stripe decal set was added, made to the same specifications and reflective material as the Boss 302 stripe. I kept all the original Mach 1 moldings and restored them as well.

BODY TRIM AND PAINT:
Being from New Mexico, the body was rust free and very straight. The car was professionally painted with the original D code yellow paint and a deep mirror shine finish. All removable body panels were taken off, stripped down to bare metal, primed and painted. The undercarriage and engine bay were media blasted, primed and painted. Most of the chrome and trim were replaced. New weather-stripping was put on doors, roof rails, trunk and cowl. The car has no body putty or fillers.
ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND REAR END:
The block is bored .0030 over and the crank is turned .0010. The original H code 2V heads were repalced with Australian closed chambered heads. The Aussie heads were fully ported and polished, competition multi-angle valve job, new Manley valves, new springs, seals and bronze valve guides. New 4 barrel Edelbrock 600 CFM carb and Performer intake were added. The compression ratio is around 11:1 with the TRW aluminum Flattop pistons. The cam shaft is a little hotter than stock but nothing to radical (smooth idle). The ignition system was upgraded to a Mallory dual point distributor with a MSD Digital 6 Plus control box. The exhaust system is all new, consisting of Headman headers flowing to 2.5 inch aluminized exhaust pipes (with H pipe), to a set of FlowMaster mufflers and tailpipes. The transmission is a positive shifting C-6 with a shift kit and transmission cooler.
SUSPENSION, STEERING AND BRAKES:
The following front end, suspension, steering and brake parts are all new: Upper and lower control arms, ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, idler arm, coils springs, spring perches, rear leaf springs and bushings, KYB auto adjust shocks, heavy duty front and rear sway bars with bushings, power steering hoses, hydraulic cylinder rebuilt with seal kit, front disc rotors, calipers, hoses, pads, rear shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and universal joints. As you can see from the list, just about everything has been replaced.
